Antique French Majolica Plates, Keller Guerin Luneville, Artichoke Asparagus, Set of 6

A set of six French majolica plates by Keller & Guérin of Lunéville, each molded in high relief with artichoke and asparagus motifs glazed in turquoise, moss green, and aubergine. Keller & Guérin was one of the leading Lorraine potteries producing this style of vegetable-form majolica in the late 19th–early 20th century, made to serve the era's fashionable asparagus course. Each plate is impressed "Depose G K Luneville" on the reverse. Approximately 9 in. diameter, unframed, sold as a set of 6. Good condition, no chips or cracks.
