Signed Oil Painting, Autumn Birch Tree Forest Landscape, A. LeBlanc, Unframed

Late-afternoon light rakes across a dirt road and sets a stand of white birches glowing against deep autumn woods in this atmospheric oil landscape. The painter builds the scene with confident, textured brushwork — thick impasto in the foliage, long shadows across the road, touches of orange and rust carrying the season through the canopy. Signed A. LeBlanc at lower right; the artist has not been identified, and no attribution beyond the signature is offered. A ready candidate for a simple wood or gilt frame, with the honest surface of a picture that has waited decades to be cleaned and hung. Oil on canvas, 22¼ x 28 inches, unframed.

Scattered paint losses with ground showing, most visibly in the upper sky and along the edges, with overall surface grime and discolored varnish. Unlined canvas on its original stretcher; tacking edges frayed; unframed.
